NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Online Training Series

This engaging learning series is updated to account for recent changes to NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, 2024 edition.

The online program includes six individual modules. The main goal is useful electrical safety training that helps ensure the safety of the employee at the end of the day. Modules feature interactive content, including scenarios, videos, and animated images to present content, allow practice, and reinforce learning.

This NFPA 70E online training series contains the following courses:

• Electrical Safety Essentials
• Establishing an Electrically Safe Work Condition
• Energized Work and Risk Assessment
• Mitigating Risks During Energized Work
• Personal Protective Equipment Requirements
• Safety-Related Maintenance and Special Equipment

Each training module contains a short quiz at the end to confirm your understanding of core concepts and strategies. Complete the training to earn 0.6 continuing education units (CEUs) and pass a post-series quiz to receive your certificate of completion.

Complete this six-hour course series and qualify for 0.6 CEUs. Completion of each individual one-hour course qualifies you for 0.1 CEU. Upon successful completion of a course or the course series, participants will be prompted to download the CEU certificate directly from the course site.

High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) Acceptance

The 2024 NFPA 70E Online Training will be accepted towards the license renewal mandate upon successful completion of the course. Successful completion is based on full attendance, passing the course assessment, and completing the course evaluation.

Certificate of Completion: To demonstrate your proficiency after you complete NFPA training, go online to take the course assessment. Once you receive a passing score on the assessment and complete the applicable course evaluation, you can download and print your Certificate of Completion, which also displays any IACET CEUs earned.

Expiration: Participants will need to take the online courses or series within 365 days.
